What happened in the December of 1943?

This is my first question about Jochen Peiper in the east front:

Did Peiper have any conflict with the officers in SS 1st panzer regiment when they attacked a village named Pekartschina at the night between 5th-6th December, 1943?

Here are the pictures of the crew members of headquarter of SS 1st panzer regiment.

Danny Parker said they had some sort of conflicts yet he didn’t present the details about this event in page.105 of “Hitler’s Warrior”.

Patrick Agte described in page.257 “Jochen Peiper” that because the terrain outside the village was not able to bypassed at the night and the bridge inside the village has to be taken by surprise, so Peiper personally commanded the “Blowtorch” battalion to take the vanguard. The 1st SS panzer regiment, however, didn’t join the attack to the further east until next dawn.

So what exactly happens between Peiper and his men went on the action?
